Interesting article about the just released Oklahoma City Bombing security tapes being edited.
President Obama said that good journalism is “critical to the health of our democracy,” but expressed concern toward growing tends in reporting — especially on political blogs, from which a groundswell of support for his campaign emerged during the presidential election.
Unfortunately the President continued;
“I am concerned that if the direction of the news is all blogosphere, all opinions, with no serious fact-checking, no serious attempts to put stories in context, that what you will end up getting is people shouting at each other across the void but not a lot of mutual understanding,” he said. It does not take a genius to understand this. President Obama knows he cannot control the blogs and when you consider that a record 70% of the American people felt the mainstream media gave unfair coverage toward Obama in this last election cycle. As usual, what Obama and the mainstream media say – the opposite is true. Also according to polls the American people distrust the mainstream media. In reality the American people feel that the mainstream media does not properly fact check stories and are biased. Repeat after me, what Obama and the mainstream media says – the opposite is true.

And ABC immediately try’s to cover it up for him. Terry Moran from ABC posted on his twitter page what President Obama reportedly said, off the record in calling Kanye a jackass. Within an hour the tweet is removed and ABC apologizes for upsetting their favorite politician. We officially have it – the mainstream media willfully covering up what the President of the United States said simply because it might do him some harm, and of course make it difficult for them to get more “access”.
Journalism is dead. Except for the web, which of course is where this was uncovered as usual. The Mainstream Media hates the truth, they want filtered, useless bullshit disguised as the truth.
