In a world with complex differential equations used for finance, it would not be a surprise to find that the “Human Equation” has already been developed. What is the human equation, the amount of people that can be supported on this earth based on various levels of resource expectations. The oil equation has been in place since 1950! Sixty years later this equation is still ignored especially by government agencies including the department of energy. What does this self imposed ignorance mean for us?
